CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Montgomery County at 5:58 p.m. on Monday. The warning is set to expire at 6:30 p.m., according to AccuWeather.

The National Weather Service reported at 5:24 p.m., doppler radar had been tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles west of Ashland City, moving northeast at 20 mph. The report said wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected, with a half inch of hail.
