CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System continues to offer summer enrichment opportunities for school-age children in the community. Registration is now open for elementary and middle school students interested in exploring career-focused summer camps. Through games and hands-on activities, the Academies of CMCSS and CMCSS Career & Technical Education pathways are once again offering carefully crafted camps focused on specific content areas.

While schools will continue to host athletic-related skills camps and extracurricular opportunities, these 11 camps offer students the opportunity to pursue a creative or skills-based interest. All camps are held at different times and locations in Clarksville-Montgomery County. Please reach out directly to the individual camp’s point of contact for more information.

  • Agriculture Camp is hosted by the Academy of Plant and Animal Systems at Montgomery Central High School. Open to incoming 4th-grade students, this camp will include classroom activities, a visit to the school farm, and the greenhouse. The camp will run May 28-30 at Montgomery Central High School.
  • Aviation Camp is hosted by the Aviation program of study. Open to rising 7th and 8th-grade students, it will include classroom activities and a visit to the Clarksville Regional Airport, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the aviation industry. The camp will run June 3-6 at West Creek High School.
  • Camp Engineer is hosted by the Academy of Engineering and Design at Kenwood High School. Open to rising 3rd to 5th-grade students, the camp will focus on applying STEM concepts to increase critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. The camp will run June 9-12 at Kenwood High School.
  • Camp Junior Executive is hosted by the Supply Chain Management Academy at Kirkwood High School. Open to incoming 6th through 9th-grade students, participants will engage in hands-on supply chain activities, leadership challenges, and team-building activities. The camp will run May 27-29 at Kirkwood High School.
  • CITA 2.0 Camp is hosted by the Computer Information Technology Academy at Northeast High School. Open to incoming 6th through 9th-grade students, the camp will show participants how to build and code robots with the award-winning Northeast High Robotics Team. They will enter into a friendly competition at the end of the camp. The camp will run May 27-29 at Northeast High School.
  • Create Camp is hosted by the Academy of Media Arts and Technology at Rossview High School. Open to incoming 6th through 9th-grade students, this camp will offer a three-day focused training and development experience in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. All students will leave with a creative poster they designed! The camp will run May 27-29 at Rossview High School.
  • Digital Defenders Camp is hosted by the Cybersecurity and Web Design programs of study. Open to students 11-15 years old, it allows participants to take on the role of cyber guardians by navigating the online world safely through Minecraft: Education Edition. Campers leave understanding cybersecurity skills, digital citizenship, and safe online strategies. The camp runs May 27-30 at Rossview High School.
  • Medicamp is hosted by the Health Science Academy at Northwest High School. Open to incoming 6th through 9th-grade students, participants will learn about nursing activities, how emergency medical personnel respond to events, and the types of protective gear required for medical professionals. They will even get to spend time in an ambulance. The camp will run May 27-30 at Northwest High School.
  • Whisk and Stitch Camp is hosted by the Montgomery Central High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization. Open to students 8 to 12 years of age, participants can learn and practice new skills in cooking and sewing. By the end of camp, participants will complete fun and simple sewing projects and easy snack recipes. The camp runs June 9-12 at Montgomery Central High School.
  • Young Entrepreneur Camp is hosted by the Montgomery Central High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization. Open to students 8 to 12 years of age, the camp will unlock your child’s creativity and ambition, engaging them in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication while they develop their very own business ideas. The camp runs June 16-18 at Montgomery Central High School.
