CLARKSVILLE, TN − Crow Estate Planning & Probate is pleased to announce that Laurence McMillan Jr., a highly respected figure in the Clarksville legal community, has joined the firm’s team of attorneys this month.

McMillan will primarily focus on litigation, particularly complex civil cases, further strengthening the firm’s ability to advocate for clients in high-stakes legal disputes.

Larry McMillan graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1987, where he distinguished himself as a member of the Tennessee Law Review. He began his legal career with the Nashville firm Barnett & Alagia before returning to his hometown of Clarksville in 1992 to join Cunningham, Mitchell, Hicks, & McMillan. McMillan’s legal career includes an impressive tenure as Chancellor for the 19th Judicial District of Tennessee, serving Montgomery and Robertson Counties from January 1, 2005, to August 31, 2022. After his service as Chancellor, McMillan returned to private practice at Mitchell, Ross, Rocconi, and McMillan, where he focused on general civil litigation, including contract, property, probate, and business disputes, as well as personal injury and domestic relations cases. He also provided mediation services for civil disputes.

“I am excited to join Crow Estate Planning & Probate and bring my litigation experience to the firm,” said McMillan. “Complex legal disputes require strategic thinking and a deep understanding of the law, and I look forward to advocating for our clients in high-stakes cases. Collaborating with this talented team is an exciting opportunity to continue serving the Middle Tennessee community.”

John Crow, founder of Crow Estate Planning & Probate, shared his enthusiasm:
