CLARKSVILLE, TN − Thoughtfully planned events have the power to bring communities together, and Clarksville Parks & Recreation continues to set the bar for meaningful, engaging experiences. That dedication was recognized on a regional stage at the Southeast Festivals & Events Association (SFEA) Conference, where the department earned three prestigious Kaleidoscope Awards.
With a record number of entries submitted this year, Clarksville stood out among the competition, receiving:
- Gold – Best Vendor Impact: Sweeter Days Farm for the Farm to Table Dinner
- Bronze – Best Children’s Event or Program: Kinder Kitchen
- Bronze – Best Event Under $75K: Christmas on the Cumberland
The SFEA Kaleidoscope Awards celebrate the best events, programs, and community initiatives across the Southeast. Each submission is judged on its impact, creativity, and execution, making these awards a significant honor for Clarksville’s Parks & Recreation team.
“These awards highlight the heart behind our events, the people, partnerships, and creativity that make them successful,” said Jennifer Letourneau, Director of Clarksville Parks & Recreation. “It’s exciting to see our team’s hard work recognized, but even more rewarding to know that these programs are truly making a difference in our community.”
Representing Clarksville Parks & Recreation at the SFEA Conference were Event Planning Specialist April Sialana and Recreation Programmer Penny Greene, who accepted the awards on behalf of the department.
