CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rossview High senior guard Imani Evans has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following her performance in the Hawks undefeated week, as they were able to secure wins against Springfield and Northwest High.
Evans was a scoring machine during the week of Feb. 10. She averaged 19.5 points per game across the two games played, while also playing lockdown defense, which led to averaging 3 steals per contest.
In addition, she also averaged 3 rebounds and dished out 3.5 assists per contest. Now, the Lady Hawks look to capture the district championship as then number one seed in District 13-4A.

“Imani has been such a great leader and steady presence for our team this year,” said Rossview High head coach Clay Head. “Her results this year are due to her great work ethic and attitude. It’s been an honor to coach her this year.”
As for Evans, she says she’s honored to be named Clarksville Now Player of the Week. “I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of my teammates and coaches. This recognition is a reflection of our hard work as a team, and I’m grateful to be part of such an amazing group.”
