CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is delighted to host Jubilee: Celebrating Black History on Saturday, February 22, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This complimentary, community-wide event is dedicated to honoring the history, the culture, and the accomplishments of African Americans in Clarksville and beyond.

Attendees will experience engaging presentations, compelling storytelling, crafts, and artistic displays that highlight the many contributions of the African American community.

“The Jubilee multi-generational celebration is being held to create a space where the community can gather to learn, share, and celebrate the legacy of African Americans,” said Christina Riedel, CMCPL Library Director. “Black history is an integral part of our collective story, and this event is an opportunity to reflect, appreciate, and be inspired by some of the many stories found in our community.”
