CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce a landmark donation to its newly established Library Legacy Fund. Dee Boaz, a long-time library supporter and advocate, presented the donation at a small ceremony held at the library on Nov. 5, marking the first contribution to this transformative initiative.

The Library Legacy Fund was created to build a robust endowment to support the library’s future growth, ensuring it remains a vital resource for the Clarksville-Montgomery County community.

In attendance to witness this historic contribution were members of the Library’s Governing Board, the Library Foundation, and the Friends of the Library. Together, they celebrated Boaz’s generous donation, which will serve as a foundational contribution toward the library’s ongoing and future operational needs.

“We are incredibly grateful to Dee Boaz for this gift, which launches our Library Legacy Fund with great promise,” said Christina Riedel, Library Director. “Her generosity sets an example for others who wish to support the library’s mission of lifelong learning, access to information, and community enrichment for generations to come. This type of giving opportunity allows supporters to invest in a fund that will grow steadily then a percentage will be used to supplement library operations.”

The Library Foundation invites community members to consider joining Boaz in supporting the Library Legacy Fund to help ensure that the library remains an innovative and accessible resource for all.
