Juanita Smith Wolfe went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 16, 2014 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

She was born at home on January 3, 1929 in the Oakwood community and lived there her entire life. She was the youngest of seven children. She was a hardworking farmer’s wife and a loving Mother who also helped raise several nieces and nephews. She took care of her mother, father-in-law and husband before each passed. She was a faithful member of Cross Creek Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Woodlawn Home Demonstration Club. She was a graduate of Clarksville High School where she played clarinet in the Wildcat Marching band.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Wolfe, her parents Calvin Terry (C.T.) and Annie Goldie Smith, her infant son Wendell and daughter Tammy, brothers Elbert Smith, Howard Smith, Mitchell Smith and sisters Nettie Mae Moore and Leona Smith.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Jackie) Wolfe and daughter, Donna (Jeremy) Brown, sister, Fannie Barrett and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International in memory of Juanita.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18 and from noon until the hour of service Thursday, June 19 at Neal- Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home in Clarksville.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Alan Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Red Top.
