Lily Van Morris Mandle, 82 formerly of Knoxville and Clarksville was joyfully reunited with her loved ones on June 14, 2014.
Van attended the University of Tennessee. She was an active member and president of the Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi. She married Sid Mandle from Paris, TN and they started their life together in Clarksville. She was a Realtor with Harris Realty, a member of the Les Candies Garden Club, the DAR and the Madison Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 4 children, Sy Mandle (Kim), Jim Mandle (Pam), Lea Mandle, and Lynne Mandle Howd (Jim) and 6 grandaughters, Lindsey Howd Rohling (Seth), Brooke Howd, Hailey Howd, Lauren Mandle Stovall (PJ), Jessica Mandle Ferguson (Michael) and Jordyn Mandle and 1 great grandaughter, Carolyn Jo Rohling.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on June 21st in a Celebration of Life at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask everyone perform a random act of kindness for a stranger in Van’s memory. We would like to thank the staff of NHC Franklin who provided outstanding compassionate care for our mother.
