CLARKSVILLE, TN – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville (BBBSC) is happy to announce the addition of two new employees, Elizabeth Englen and Shelby Aberle, to their Clarksville Office.

Elizabeth Englen will serve as the Recruiting and Marketing Specialist. Englen is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a degree in Communication and Public Relations. Prior to joining BBBSC, she worked for two event venues, Ruby Cora and 14Tenn, where she was responsible for client relations, venue coordination, and event oversight. Her experience in communication and marketing will play a pivotal role in enhancing outreach and recruitment efforts.

Shelby Aberle will serve as a School Based Program Specialist. Aberle is currently attending Western Governors University majoring in Business Administration and Marketing. Prior to joining BBBSC, she worked for Chippewa Falls Boys and Girls Club and YMCA of Chippewa Valley, where she oversaw membership recruitment, onboarding, member engagement, and program coordination. Her extensive experience in child service organizations will be an asset to BBBSC as they expand the number of schools they serve in their site-based program.

We are confident that their contributions will help us better serve the youth in our community.” Elizabeth and Shelby will begin their roles immediately, working closely with the existing team to support and expand the organization’s programs and outreach efforts. Their addition comes at an exciting time for BBBSC, as the organization doubled the number of children they serve in the past year.
