CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A teenager found in a house fire in north Clarksville was revived by firefighters at the scene Sunday evening.

At about 6:26 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 200 block of Creekside Drive for a house fire, according to CFR. They arrived to heavy smoke coming from the eaves and fire coming from a back window.

Firefighters pulled an unconscious 18-year-old male from the home. CPR was performed, and a pulse was restored. He was the only one at the home at the time of the fire.

A firefighter also suffered a minor injury at the scene.

They are both in the care of Montgomery County EMS and are being transported to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville for advanced care.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and fire investigators are on the scene. Battalion 1 units from Stations 7, 6, 5, and 1 responded.
