Alton Raymond Fowler, age 80 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Spurgeon and Bro. Paul McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
The Fowler family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday morning at the funeral home.
Alton entered this life on March 6, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC, son to the late Carl Edward Fowler and Nellie Barnett Fowler. Alton proudly served his country in the United States Army where he retired after 20 years of faithful service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Sheila Taylor Fowler; children, Brian Fort, Carl (Stacy) Fowler, Ray (Angie) Fowler, Missy Waddle; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Barnes, Jerry Barnes, Jerry Barnes JR, Sammy Groves, Brian Fort, and JC Crawford.
