CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Candidates have begun putting their names in for City of Clarksville elections, coming up in November.
On the ballot are half of the City Council wards and city judge. June 17 was the first day to pick up petitions in city races. The deadline to qualify is Aug. 15, so more city candidates are likely to step forward.

About the election
Also on the Nov. 5 ballot will be state House and state Senate races, Congressional races and the presidential election. The candidates for those will be decided in the upcoming Aug. 1 State Primary and County General Elections.
The Presidential, State General and City Elections will be Nov. 5, with early voting Oct. 16-31. The voter registration deadline is Oct. 7.
