Juanita “Nita” June Hardy, age 88, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Geoffrey Sikes officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Nita entered this life on November 11, 1935, in Clinton, Missouri to the late Hobart and Violet Miller. Throughout her life, Nita touched the hearts of many with her involvement in various organizations. She was a proud member of the Women’s Bible study at Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, where her faith shone brightly through her actions and words. Nita took great joy in leading the card ministry, spreading love and comfort to all who crossed her path. In addition to her service within the church, Nita also carried with her a profound sense of duty and honor. As a Veteran of The United States Air Force, she exemplified courage and strength in all aspects of her life. She was an avid lover of crossword puzzles; Nita also loved gardening, sewing and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Hardy; son, Mike Hardy, and grandson, Eric Hardy.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Susan) Hardy; daughters, Kathleen York, Brenda (Ken) Defibaugh, and Dana Foutch; grandchildren, Michael Hardy, Preston Hardy, Madison Hardy, Bryan York, Stephen York, Sarah Tegtmeier, Matt Defibaugh, Drew Defibaugh, and Mallie Foutch, and twelve great-grandchildren.
