Robert “Bob” Lee Tidwell, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 79. Bob was born June 3, 1944, son of the late Anthony and Katherine Tidwell of Nashville.
He was married to his late wife, Bettye Tidwell. He is survived by his daughter; Lisa Cornelison, her husband Craig, and their sons, Nathan and Parker, his son; Billy D. Walker, his wife Carol, and their daughters, Mollie (Taylor) Franklin and Maggie (Eli) Swift, and his sister; Lucy Moore; two great grandchildren, Walker Franklin and Sonny Swift. Preceding Bob in death are his brothers, Dan Tidwell, Bill Tidwell, Tony Tidwell and Earl Tidwell and one sister, Georgia Solomon.
Bob was a long-time member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. He was Owner and Operator of Foodland Grocery for approximately 30 years, and later went into Real Estate.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, June 3, 2024 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Steve Louder and Rev. Jimmy Byrd officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and also from 10:00 AM until the service time at the Church.
