CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – In order to provide a fun experience for participants in the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) Youth Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, June 7, the public is asked to refrain from using the pond at Liberty Park now through 2 p.m. on June 9.
The Youth Fishing Rodeo is a free event coordinated at Liberty Park each year for children up to 16 years old. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the event is from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
The pond has been stocked with fish, and participants must bring one fishing pole per child plus bait.
The event is held in conjunction with Tennessee’s free fishing day in public waters. Read more here.
