Drucilla Garrett, age 86 of Clarksville passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at her residence.
Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28,2014 at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born September 8, 1927 in Todd County, Kentucky to the late Annie Lee Rasco. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Newt Garrett, Sr, grandchildren Angela Garrett and James “Kenny” Cross and great grandchild Aniah Wilcox and great great grandchild Shaniya Sebree and sister Darlene Webb and son-in-law Samuel T. Wentz.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Willie Mae (Rev. R.L.) Miller, Marilyn Ann Cross Wentz, Elnora (Bill) Mallory all of Clarksville,TN and Lucille (Billy) Wilcox Smyrna,TN;sons, Newt L. (Katie) Garrett, Albert (Rubye) Garrett, Edward(Tina) Garrett, James( Ruby) Garrett and Howard (Patricia) Garrett all of Clarksville, TN and thirty-nine grandchildren and forty-five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and sister-in-law Ethel Garrett and a host of family and friends.
