Update, 2:18 p.m.: With temperatures expected to drop on Wednesday night, Manna Cafe Warming Center,503 D Street, will be open to the public. Check-in is scheduled for 5 p.m. and check-out is 10 a.m. Guests will be provided a hot meal and a safe place to sleep.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Wind Advisory is in effect this week, from noon Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. South winds around 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS alert said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution.”
