Janice Dies Morrison, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Tennessee State Veterans Home.
Janice was born on November 9, 1935, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Eddis Nicholson and Edna Shearon Nicholson. Janice is also preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Jackson Dies and Frank Morrison; sister, Nancy Williams Walker; nephew, Daniel Keith Williams.
Janice is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Bryan C. Williams (Reinaldo Mercado-Ruiz), Neal Walker (Savi Walker); niece, Michelle Walker Leville (Kevin Leville); grandchildren, Tommy, Laura, and Justin White; 6 great nieces; 1 great nephew; 1 great-great niece.
Janice was the owner and operator of Jo-Jo’s Garage, Inc. She is loved by many and will be missed by all.
Family would like to acknowledge and thank special neighbors and friends, Mike and Karen Campbell, Howard and Clara French for their kindness and great care for her. A special thanks to the staff of the Tennessee State Veterans Home for their excellent care and concern for not only her needs, but for the family as well.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Carrigan officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 3:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home and Monday 12:00 PM until the service hour. Burial will follow directly after the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Serving as Pallbearers will be Bryan C. Williams, Michael Neal Walker, Tom White, Michael (MIke) Campbell, Howard French and Ralph Hardy; Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Appleton, Wade Scholes, Justin White and Tommy Shearon.
