Judy Channell Young, 88, of Clarksville, TN, peacefully passed away on February 3, 2024. She was born on August 1, 1935, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Edwin and Zanie McFall Channell.
Judy devoted her life to her husband, children, and a fulfilling nursing career. After graduating from Clarksville High School, she pursued a biology degree at Austin Peay State
University. On October 4, 1952, Judy married the love of her life, Bill Young. Together, they founded the successful William N. Young Surveying company. In the mid-1980s, she returned to college to study nursing, graduating from Belmont University’s School of Nursing on May 6, 1988. Judy worked as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for over twenty years, showing dedication to her patients. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed collecting antique furniture and hosting gatherings for friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Young. Survivors include three sons: Bill Young, Nashville; David Young and Mark Young, both of Clarksville; a daughter, Julie Hubbs, Camden; and seven grandchildren.
