Michael Brian Shaffer, of Clarksville TN, passed away on Thursday, January 25th, 2024, with his beloved dog, Jack Daniels Shaffer.
Michael was born September 25th, 1974, to the late James Edward Shaffer Jr. and Constance Lee Shaffer (Cober). After Michael graduated from North Stafford High School in 1992, he went on to study at Radford University.
Through the years, Michael made many friends, but never enemies. He had the biggest heart and the best smile that reached his eyes every time. The hugs he gave were unlike any other and made you feel all the love in his heart. He cared deeply for the people around him and always put others first. Aside from his immense love for his family and friends, Michael was also an avid music admirer and concertgoer. The walls of his home, adorned with band posters, have heard many songs by Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, Phish, amid countless others.
Michael is preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Jean Shaffer-Peace and his Aunt Vicki Scobee. He is survived by his brothers, James Edward (Kim) Shaffer III & Mark Robert Shaffer, aunt, Linda (Sonny) Cope, nephews, Steven Shaffer, Christopher (Jessi) Hottel, & James Edward Shaffer IV, nieces, Britni Shaffer, Allison Shaffer, Cydney (James) White, Kelsey Peace, & Caitlyn Peace. Along with his nieces and nephews, with whom he loved dearly, he is also survived by grand-nephews and grand-nieces, Kaleigh, Kyra, Wyatt, Kaden, Addison, Bridger, Presleigh, Marleigh, Lennix, Preston & Aubri.
