George Phillip Matos, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 79.
George was born July 14, 1944, to the late William Matos and Irene Umstead. George is also preceded in death by his wife, Chickie Matos, his children, Chrissy Sultan and Paul Matos, and granddaughter, Dara Demarest.
George is survived by his son, John Joseph (Bridget) Matos, daughter, Pamela (Gary) Demarest, and grandchildren, Sofia Matos, Shannon Gaylord, and Gary Demarest Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. John Mark Thomas officiating.
