Rickie Edward Davis, age 74, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Centennial Medical Center.
Rickie was born on October 12, 1949, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Roger Davis and Mattie Polly Hutchings. Rickie was also preceded in death by his great grandchildren, Evan and Aivree.
Rickie is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Libby); son, Sean (Donna) Grimes; brother, Phillip (Mary) Davis; grandchildren, Timothy, Katie, Kimberlee, and Madries; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Devan, Ryan, Kaleb, Kourtney, and Barrett.
Rickie was an honorably retired U.S. Army veteran with over 20 years of dedicated service to his country.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly LeBlanc officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors.
