A Celebration of Life service for Donald Ray Sykes, age 56, of Palmyra, TN, will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Dr. Mike King will officiate. Burial will follow at Bob Yarbrough Cemetery in Palmyra. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Donald was born on January 7, 1967. He passed away on December 25, 2023. Donald, a true redneck, was a jack of all trades, but a master of none. He loved spending time with his family, car shows, NASCAR, and target shooting.
Donald is preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Baggett Sykes. He is survived by his father, Leonard Sykes; children: Whitney Jo (Billy) Keiser, Trinity Oster, Ashlee (Brandon) Evans-Neff, John (Carmen) Evans, and Sarah Evans; brother, Mike (Vicki) Sykes; life partner, Angela Oster; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many more loving family members and friends.
