CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Fire Rescue was dispatched to a commercial fire at the Regal Cinema on Tiny Town Road, according to the department’s official Facebook page.

At 2:11 p.m., Battalion 1 units from stations 1, 9, 10 and 11 were sent to the scene after a caller advised dispatch the theater was filling up with smoke. The building was soon evacuated, and firefighters entered the building and were able to extinguish the fire.

According to CFR reports, an HVAC company was on the scene replacing HVAC units in the second story of the building. While working on replacing the units, the duct work caught on fire.

The building is being ventilated and no injuries have been reported.
