CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – An injured climber at Queens Bluff had to be rescued Sunday morning.
At about 11:51 a.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to help the injured climber.
Crews created a rope system to get down to the patient and then get him down to the fire boat waiting on the shore. The climber was transported by Fire Boat 1 to the Conservation Club and loaded in a waiting EMS medic unit. He was transported to the hospital to be evaluated.
Battalion 2 crews units, including District 1, Squad 1, Engine 4 and Rescue 3 responded.
