Dr. William “Bill” Driver Shippen Jr., age 71, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Tennova Medical Center.
Dr. Shippen was born on April 2, 1952, in Little Rock, AR to the late William Driver Shippen Sr. and Frances Lynda Adams.
Bill is survived by his mother, Linda Shippen; former spouse, Carol Bryant Shippen; son, William Driver Shippen III (Jessica); daughter, Melissa Shippen Burrows (Austin); brothers, Frank Shippen and Alan Shippen; grandchildren, Jackson Douglas Shippen, Vivian Isabelle Burrows, Ella Mckailey Shippen, and Alaina Victoria Burrows.
A celebration of life in Bill’s honor will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow directly after the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
