SSG (retired) Dennis Brennan Insko, 57, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Butler, KY, passed away at his home on June 13th, 2023.
He was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on April 1, 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Dolores Pombles Insko, and a grandson, Christoher Ryan Insko Jr.
Dennis was a 1984 graduate of Pendleton County High School. He retired in 2005 after 20 years in the United States Army. He was an MP his entire career and K9 for 17 of those years. He did 2 tours in Germany and 2 in Korea as well as Iraq. He also participated in numerous US Customs and Secret Service missions.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Insko; daughter, Katrina Insko Royal; brothers, Brian and Daniel; sister, Donna; half-brother, Tracy Insko; half-sister, Angels Hughes. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Krystalin Nobel Clajon and Brennan Royal.
Memorial service will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 15, 2023, at People’s Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Military service will follow at 1 p.m. at People’s also.
