A Celebration of Life service for Barbara Irene Tucker, age 69, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Barbara was born on February 13, 1954, in Glens Falls, NY to Charlie and Barbara Fisher. She loved to go dancing, her animals, and knickknacks. She also loved to go bowling and roller skating. Barbara came in 2nd place in the New York State Beauty Pageant in New York, where she was offered to participate in Miss America, where she turned it down to stay close to her family. She loved her friends and family.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Charlie James Fisher. In addition to her mother, Barbara Dottie, Barbara is survived by her husband, of 36 years, Bob Tucker; children: Ken Dickinson, Mike (Sunshine) Dickinson Jr., and Bridget (Joe) McCray; grandchildren, Hailey Dickinson, Grace Dickinson, Hope Dickinson, Derek Dickinson, Alexandra Dickinson, Masun Tate, Kardar Dickinson, Bradley Mead, Cory Mead, Joseph McCray, Natalie McCray, Brittany Denton and Alex Denton; 7 great grandchildren, and siblings: Jimmy, Linda, Donna, Chucky.
