CLARKSVILLE, TN –The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library announces its annual Adult Summer Reading Program, “All Together Now,” running from June 3rd through July 23rd. The program is designed to encourage lifelong learning among adults during the summer months when people tend to have more leisure time. The Summer Reading Program also allows adults to explore their library and make new friendships.

With this year’s theme, “All Together Now,” participants will enjoy crafts, games, meet and greets, and more that will transport readers to new places and experiences. Participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes by completing reading challenges and attending library events.

“We’re excited to offer our Adult Summer Reading Program once again this year,” said Christina Riedel, Library Director. “Reading is a great way to relax, escape, and a fantastic way to learn and build friendships. We hope that our program will inspire our community to explore new worlds and connect with their fellow readers.”

To participate, adults can sign up at the library or online at Clarksville.org. Participants are also encouraged to participate by using the Read Squared app to receive a reading log that will keep track of their progress and can earn prizes by reading books and attending library events. The program is open to all adults, and there is no cost to participate.

More information about the Read Squared app can be found on our website. Your library has also planned several events and activities throughout the summer to complement the program, including mocktails, painting programs, book clubs, cultural events, and more. Details about the events will be available on our website and social media channels.
