CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Mathews Nissan was recognized Thursday by Nissan of North America for 50 years of service to the citizens of Clarksville and the surrounding region.
The honor was presented to Terry Yarbrough, executive manager for Mathews Nissan, and Joyce Mathews, the widow of the late Gary Mathews, who opened the dealership.

Yarbrough has worked with Mathews Nissan for the past 37 years and said it is the commitment to the community that has allowed them to be part of the automotive industry and be in business for 50 years. Yarbrough added that they are still family-owned and greatly appreciate the support of Clarksville for the past 50 years.
Joyce Mathews said she was excited to be at the event and was sure her late husband would also have been very excited about the recognition.
