Hundreds of hams handed out for Easter to Fort Campbell military families

Christian County Military Affairs along with Hopkinsville and Oak Grove officials handed out more than 600 hams to military personnel.

OAK GROVE, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Christian County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee hosted Hams for Heroes Thursday at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel. Hundreds of hams were handed out to active-duty military.

“We have over 600 hams that we are handing out to all of our active-duty service members, and we had over 20 Gold Star families go ahead and reserve a ham as well,” said Director of Military Affairs Kristi Murtha.
