Update, 5:50 p.m.: Wilma Rudolph Boulevard has re-opened, according to police.

Update, 5:10 p.m.: At least two people were critically injured in the wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard. They were being taken by medical helicopter to Nashville, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, including one that flipped upside down.

Update, 4:53: The southbound lanes of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard are now closed after a crash at Union Hall Road, Gill said.

There are also lane closures on the northbound side of Wilma. Southbound is closed between Needmore Road and Union Hall Road.

CPD is requesting that the public find alternate routes until further notice.

Update, 4:45 p.m.: The crash is in the southbound lanes near Allen’s Fireworks, 2169 Fort Campbell Blvd., according to Clarksville Police Lt. Charles Gill.

All southbound lanes are closed, and traffic is being detoured until further notice on Jack Miller Road.

CPD asks the public to avoid the area and find alternate routes until the road is reopened. No further information has been released.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A serious wreck has snarled up traffic of Fort Campbell Boulevard near Gate 1.

At about 4:30 p.m., the southbound lanes were closed and the northbound lanes were backed up, according to emergency dispatch and drivers.

The wreck was near Lady Marion Drive.
