The ninth annual NXT LVL Hoops Fest came to a conclusion on Friday, Dec. 30th bringing an end to the highly competitive tournament.
NASHVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The ninth annual NXT LVL Hoops Fest came to a conclusion on Friday with two Clarksville teams finishing near the bottom.
The Rossview Hawks and Clarksville Academy Cougars boys’ basketball teams participated in the eight-team three-day tournament.

Rossview High finished in 7th place with a record of 1-2.
The Hawks lost their first two games against Little Rock Central and Louisville Male. They ended NXT LVL Hoops Fest on a high note, however. They demolished Starkville Academy on day three and concluded the tournament in winning fashion.
As for Clarksville Academy, they finished in 6th with a record of 1-2.
After losing during the opening round, the Cougars bounced back on the second day against Starkville Academy. Following their win, Clarksville Academy lost on the last day against Louisville Male.

Rossview High and Clarksville Academy boys’ basketball return to regular play next week. The Hawks face Dickson County on Tuesday.
The Cougars also play on Tuesday, against Mount Juliet Christian Academy.
