Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee marked its 5000th home in the state today with Habitat of Humanity of Montgomery County. Attendees heard speeches and signed the studs of the home, currently under construction.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee marked its 5000th home in the state on Thursday with Habitat of Humanity of Montgomery County. Attendees heard speeches and signed the studs of the home, currently under construction.
Judith, the future homeowner, delivered a speech thanking God and the everyone at Habitat for Humanity for this opportunity. One of her daughters read a poem she had written. Her other daughter gave a short thank you speech. Attendees then made their way over to the home to take part in a Habitat for Humanity tradition, signing the studs and writing inspirational messages on the inside of the unfinished home.
