Mrs. Barbara Jean Johnson was born June 9, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, to Mr. & Mrs. Tom and Etta Watson. She entered eternal rest on November 1, 2022, at her home.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Faith Outreach Church.
Barbara attended public schools in Ohio and after graduation, she joined the United States Army, June 30, 1972, until retirement on February 22, 1987. Serving 15 years with the military. After retirement, she worked for civil service and was a Wal-Mart door greeter.
In 1988, she met the love of her life, Mr. Phillip Johnson this union was blessed and very successful. Phillip preceded her in death in 2020.
Barbara loved shopping, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved crossword puzzles and playing the lottery from time to time.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Donald Pack, Jerry (Carla) Watson, Angela (Dale)Summers, all of Columbus Ohio. 13 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
