Emily Katerina Hicks, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at her home.
Emily was born August 18, 1928, in Saarburg, Germany, to the late Nikolaus Keil and Maria Murt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Hicks and a daughter, Eva Maria (Michael) Ransom. She is survived by her son, Karl T. Hicks and daughter, Barbara Hicks-Cooper (Thomas); grandchildren, Christina Maria (Donald) Ashburn, Claire (Conrad) Norris and Keil Ladd as well as great-grandchildren Jon Tanner, Nicholas Ransom and Harper Olive Norris. Emily was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was employed in the plate department of Jostens.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, October 20th from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and Friday, October 21st from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
