CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Local authorities are still searching for two suspects involved in a violent crime that occurred early Monday morning.

According to a press release from the Clarksville Police Department, on August 14, at 4:06 am, Clarksville Police Department responded to a carjacking at the Waffle House located on 734 N. Riverside Drive.  Six individuals took the victim’s vehicle by force.

Authorities with the Clarksville Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate the victim’s vehicle. After a vehicle pursuit and a foot pursuit, two of the suspects were taken into custody. One of the suspects, Ezekiel Mitchell, who was already wanted for attempted murder from an incident on August 3, was taken into custody. A second suspect, Taylor Anderson, was also taken into custody.

Two adult suspects and two juvenile suspects are still at large. The adult suspects are 22-year-old Charles Watson, who also has warrants on file for attempted murder from the incident on August 3, and 23-year-old Sha’Juan Freeman.

Charles Watson, wanted in a murder and carjacking that occurred in the early Monday morning has yet to be apprehended.

Clarksville Police Department has not released the names of the juvenile suspects at this time.
