CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Northeast Middle School’s Electric Eagles Robotics Team will be sharing robotics with younger students by hosting a one day Jr. Robotics Camp from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.

The Electric Eagles will participate in activities with campers in Kindergarten up to 5th grade to teach them to build and program robots. The youngest campers will use paper programming to give the robots commands and camp staff will show them what their program looks like in action. Older campers will build and program robots themselves and see how well the robots accomplish tasks on the challenge board.

During competitions, the Electric Eagles are judged on teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills in addition to their robotics. Campers will participate in team building games and work together in problem solving challenges to develop leadership skills like the Northeast students.

The cost for the Jr. Robotics Camp is $30 and includes lunch.
