Malia Janiece Powell was born February 20, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Eboni Ridley and Demarcus Mallory. She passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Malia accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of New Seasons Church. She was a student at Bellevue Middle School where she was a Cheerleader.
Malia was a bright friendly and caring person. She loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving parents, Eboni Ridley and Demarcus Mallory, brothers, Jwantez Powell, Jacquell Powell, sister, Dayha Ridley, grandmother, Ramona Brooks, great-grandmother, Josephine Banks, aunts, Shanika Ridley, Tiffany Brooks, Renee Banks, Rita Ridley, cousin, Keitonia, Ricaiah, Reggie, Lonnie, Alonzo, Farid, Makayla, Calvin, Kennedy, Harmony, Raeggan, Mili, step-sisters, Ty’Lynn, Tyrecia, Amiya, and Aniya a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 1 p.m.-6 p.m. at funeral home. Visitation Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. with funeral to follow at New Seasons Church, 1900 South Hamilton Rd. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery North.
