Known as one of the most Instagramable locations in Clarksville, Trinity Episcopal Church has been the background for many of your senior portraits, wedding pictures, kids photos and family snapshots – all in front of our famous red doors at 317 Franklin St. Now we invite all to walk through those red doors as we celebrate 190 years with a Trinity Homecoming, June 10, 11, and 12.

This will be a huge celebration not only to welcome back anyone who has ever called Trinity home (or even sat in a pew at Trinity), but also to welcome the community as a whole to walk through those red doors and learn about the faith, hope and love that is Trinity!

Trinity’s Homecoming Celebration will begin with a Sip N’ Sing on Friday night, June 10. Enjoy sipping some Blackhorse beer and singing everything from traditional church hymns to wherever the muse takes us! Cost of the ticket ($15 for ages 21 and older) includes food and up to three beers. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

We will continue the celebration Saturday, June 11. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., everyone is welcome to join us for free kids’ activities such as face painting, balloon artists, games, and more! Then walk through the red doors of the church and enjoy music by our talented choir led by Dr. Virginia Lile Boaz. While in the church, take in the wonders and beauty of the stained-glass windows and learn the history of Trinity and Clarksville.

We will cap off Saturday, June 11, with a Low Country Boil and Concert featuring Hotlanta, an Allman Brothers cover band. Cost of the ticket ($20 adults/$7 kids) includes shrimp and all the fixings of corn on the cob, potatoes, sausage and a soda, bottled water or a beer (please remember to bring your ID). Will have an adult chicken leg quarter dinner option with all the fixings or a hot dog kids meal with chips and a drink.

Our celebration will culminate in a visit from the Rt. Rev. John Bauerschmidt, bishop of Tennessee, on Sunday, June 12, for Trinity Sunday services at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. The 10 a.m. service will celebrate those being confirmed in the Episcopal Church.

All activities will take place on Trinity’s campus at 317 Franklin St. For more information and links to purchase tickets, visit https://trinityparish.com/homecoming/ or follow our Facebook events at https://www.facebook.com/TrinityParishTN
