CLARKSVILLE, TN – The thrill of summer isn’t lost on adults. Adults look forward to summer as much as kids do. They can relax, take vacations, or catch up on reading, and that is why the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library offers summer programming for adults as well.

Mocktails and summer salad recipe classes, Yoga, writing classes, book clubs, and genealogy classes are just a few of the offerings just for adults this summer. Regular DIY classes will include sea glass wind chimes, paint pouring, macrame for beginners, sugar scrubs, and more.

“Adult summer reading programs can offer adults the opportunity to have fun, explore new interests, and interact with one another,” said Martha Hendricks, Library Director. “Our adult offerings also provide a chance to be a good model for children enrolled in summer reading programs and hopefully encourage them to participate more.”
