Update, 7 a.m. Friday: Deputies took the woman into custody at around 4 a.m. when she came outside to walk her dog.

“She did resist arrest and is now on her way to the jail,” Wojnarek said. “We appreciate the community’s patience as we worked to bring this incident to a peaceful end.”

The woman will be charged with obstruction of service of legal writ or process.

Update, 11:47 a.m.: Deputies attempted to serve an Writ of Eviction at Autumn Winds Apartments, 851 Ted A. Crozier Blvd, Building 700, earlier this morning, according to MCSO spokesman Lt. Mark Wojnarek.

The occupant refused to leave and has secured herself in the apartment.

Wojnarek said negotiators are working to bring a peaceful resolution to the incident. First responders are on standby per safety protocols.

Residents are asked to maintain a safe distance from law enforcement and the south side of building 700.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a barricaded subject at Autumn Winds Apartments on Ted Crozier Boulevard on Thursday at 10:45 a.m., according to a post on the MCSO Facebook.

The Sheriff’s Office has asked the public to avoid the immediate area while they work to resolve the situation.
