Edward Taft Evans, affectionally known as ”Eddie”
To quote the beloved Pastor, Dr. John Laida:
Edward “entered the land of the dying on October 13, 1935 and entered the land of the living on April 22, 2022.”
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville where he was active in the Lord’s work. Eddie was a graduate of Clarksville High School, and later attended Austin Peay State University before joining The United States Navy.
Eddie earned his Pilot’s License from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and ultimately retried from Allstate Insurance Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirly Evans. He also leaves behind a large and loving family.
Eddie is preceded by his son, Eric, and daughter, Eve.
