CLARKSVILLE, TN – The West Creek Coyote wrestling teams have once again earned the highest academic honors award from the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association.

The Lady Coyote Wrestling program led the charge with a combined 3.7 G.P.A. That accolade earned the Lady Coyote Wrestlers a distinguished honor by the TSSAA. In fact, not one member of the lady program at West Creek posted a G.P.A. below a 3.3. The program was led by Emily Boateng and Ciara Delgado-Hanley who both earned a G.P.A. of 4.0 or higher. Combined, the Lady Coyote Wrestlers had 10 girls with a G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher.

The boys wrestling program finished with a combined team G.P.A. of 3.1 earning them outstanding honors from the TSSAA. Leading the pack for the Coyote Wrestlers was Chris Carbin, who posted a 4.0 G.P.A. The boys program had 15 wrestlers with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher. Academically, the Coyote Wrestling programs habitually earn academic honors from the TSSAA and National Wrestling Coaches Association.
