HOPKINSVILLE, Tenn. – The Hopkinsville Police Department’s (HPD) Special Investigations Unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives recently conducted an illegal narcotics trafficking investigation based on tips from concerned citizens.
According to a release from HPD, officers arrested three people involved in the trafficking operation after conducting two traffic stops and searching a residence.
Lorenzo Dantonio Quarles, 31, of Clarksville was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine).
Joseph A. Martin, 41, and Tosha S. Adcock, 23, both of Louisville, Ky. were arrested during a second traffic stop. Both were charged with drug trafficking and unlawful transaction with a minor.
Police seized approximately 114 grams of crack cocaine, 354 grams of powder cocaine, other unspecified drugs, a firearm, two vehicles, and about $16,900 in cash.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department, HPD Detectives, and the HPD SWAT team assisted with the investigation.
