James W. “Sammy” Mickle, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Sammy was born November 19, 1954, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Ewing Othellow Mickle, Jr. and Mary Imogene Knight Mickle.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Wall Mickle; two sons, Jerry (Teresa) Mickle and Joseph Mickle; three daughters, Shannon (BJ Nichols) Mickle, Sara Biter, and Melanie (Clint) Lehman; sister, Patricia (Virgil) Brown; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Sammy was retired from the Clarksville Street Department. He was a member of Walton’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, at Walton’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
