James Thomas Porch Jr., age 86, of Erin TN, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Porch family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday morning.
James entered this life on November 28, 1935, in Waverly, TN, son to the late James Thomas Porch Sr. and Opal Porch. James worked as an Electronics Technician for AT&T Phone Company for many years before retiring and proudly served as a church Elder at Erin Church of Christ.
James leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia Rye Porch; as well as their three dear children; Tommy Porch (Pam), Tony Porch (Kim), Angela Johnson (Travis); siblings; John Dudley Porch, Sarah Tinnel, and Bonnie Miller. James also leaves behind his grandchildren, Amber Berry (John), Holly Selcer (Michael), James Porch (Megan), Mackenzie Porch, Lathan Porch, Elise Johnson; great-grandchildren, Henley, Owen, Hank, Madison, Riley, Jackson, Anna, and Lily.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
