CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon wrapped up Friday with a total of $65,777 raised, thanks to the generosity and kindness of Beaver 100.3 listeners.

The two-day event featured Beaver on-air personalities, led by the Fletch and Mandi Morning Show, who shared heartwarming stories from campers, counselors and parents about how Camp Rainbow has touched their lives.

“It was just amazing what we were able to do with the community and everybody coming together to raise almost $66,000,” said Camp Rainbow Director Jereme Miner.

This year’s Beaver Camp Rainbow Radiothon was sponsored by Wyatt Johnson. It was the 13th year for the event, and since 2009 more than $800,000 has been raised for the kids of Camp Rainbow.

“This shows you when the community comes together to help kids what great positive things can happen. We want to thank everybody, and it’s just amazing what people do to help others in this community,” said Beaver 100.3 Program Director Mike Sanders.

Camp Rainbow is a summer camp held each year at Brandon Springs Group Camp at Land Between the Lakes. After two years away for COVID-19 health concerns, between 40 and 45 children, ages 5 to 12 years old, and close to 100 volunteers will return to LBL this year June 13-18.
