CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Shelby’s Trio celebrated a milestone today with a topping off ceremony at the $4 million, three-tiered restaurant complex on the corner of College and Second Streets.

Owners Joe and Cathi Maynard joined friends and neighbors to sign the final beam. The Maynards then went up in a crane to set the signed beam in place.

“It’s almost about time. It’s been a long time coming, and Cathy and I couldn’t be more excited,” Maynard told Clarksville Now. “We’re getting there.”

Maynard said that while construction of Shelby’s Trio has seen a few setbacks, they still hope to be open for early to mid-summer.

Shelby’s Trio was announced in January 2021 and will include three restaurants: Joe’s Garage, an American-style restaurant with a bar and classic cars, on the first floor; Gatte Cucina, an Italian restaurant, on the second; and Skyline 500, a rooftop bar with indoor and outdoor seating, on the third.
